Rolling right along. Last week’s number of properties going under contract outpaced last year for the same week by about 15%! The number sold outpaced the same week last year by about 60%! Another terrific week of activity. The number of new listings coming on the market was down from last year with 71 new. Also, last week the county witnessed about 55 price reductions.
Today Summit County has 1500 residential properties for sale at an average asking price of $693,896. The 1500 is down around -11% from last year at this time.
The number of residential properties in Summit County that are under contract is up 21% (last week that up percentage was 30%). The number that have sold through June 17th in Summit County is up 14%. On the North Side of the County that number is up 37% and the South Side the number that have sold is down -10%.
The average sold price in Summit County is down -6% with the North Side being up 8% and the South Side being down -8% for their average sold price this year.
