Summertime in Summit County is a great occasion to search for Keystone ski homes. How about touring Keystone on foot or by bicycle? The emerald forest beckons. The sun is shining, the birds singing and the aspen shaking in the breezes. During the summer time in Keystone Resort, there’s something recreational for every generation–from hiking and mountain biking to horseback riding, fly-fishing and white water rafting, to championship golf.
The large selection of Keystone ski homes includes condominium complexes in the ski villages and secluded townhomes, duplexes, and single-family homes near the river, golf course, and trails. There are three mountains in Keystone: Dercum Mountain, North Peak, and the Outback. In addition, there are several popular Bowls: Birdman, Erickson, Independence, North, and South. The elevation at the base is 9280 feet. At the summit, the elevation is 12,408 feet. Terrain Parks are another big draw in Keystone. The A51 Terrain Park includes many features used for trick performances. It is lit at night also. There are dozens of rails, fun boxes, and a Superpipe.
Now owned by Vail Resorts, Keystone Resort was founded 44 years ago by Max Dercum. The resort is has become one of the most sought after family-friendly along the Front Range. The wide selection of activities, restaurants, shops, and events allow families and friends great variety of memorable vacations together. Keystone hosts Frontier Days, a Fourth of July Parade, an array of musical events and cook-offs, and 5K runs and cycling competitions.
